Fiorentina have inquired about the possibility of signing Inter Milan-linked Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante in January.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.
Cristante is a player who looks more and more likely to leave Roma this month.
The 29-year-old Italian international has seen his playing time dwindle this season. He is not a first-choice starter under Claudio Ranieri.
Therefore, the Giallorossi will certainly listen to offers for Cristante.
Inter have emerged as one shock possible destination for Cristante.
Roma are reportedly ready to offer the 29-year-old to the Nerazzurri as part of a deal for Davide Frattesi. Therefore, Frattesi is keen to leave Inter, and pushing for a transfer to the Giallorossi.
Cristante would hardly be a like-for-like replacement for Frattesi.
However, the former Atalanta midfielder could very well be a solution in holding midfield, which has been a bit of a problem position for Inter this season.
But another Serie A club have emerged as a possible destination for Cristante as well.
Sky report that Fiorentina have shown an interest in the Italy international’s signature. Therefore, thy have made initial contacts with Roma about the possibility of signing him this month.
