The first couple of official pictures showcasing the brand new 2025/26 Manchester City home shirt have now surfaced online ahead of the kit’s formal launch this week.
Manchester City confirmed over the course of the weekend that their brand new PUMA-designed and manufactured home kit for the upcoming 2025/26 season will be formally unveiled to supporters across the world on Tuesday morning.
Those in the UK will be able to purchase their brand new Manchester City home strip from 8AM on Tuesday 13 May, while the club have also confirmed some details regarding the shirt ahead of the summer’s FIFA Club World Cup.
It had been previously suggested that with two new designs set to be unveiled and launched ahead of the tournament in the United States that Manchester City would not star in their traditional sky blue and white colours.
However, ahead of the formal launch of the club’s new home shirt for next season, Manchester City have confirmed to supporters that Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad wear the new number this summer when they take on Juventus, Wydad AC, and Al Ain in the group stage initially.
And ahead of Tuesday morning’s official unveiling to Manchester City supporters across the globe, two of the first official images showcasing the shirt in all its glory have surfaced on social media.

The 2025/26 home shirt is believed to be the first time in Manchester City’s history that their sky blue and white edition has featured a sash design element, having utilised it on alternative kits numerous times in the past.
It will also be the first time since 2021 that City will not see a gold Premier League emblem on their shirt to mark their status as reigning division champions, while there will not be a FIFA Club World Cup crest on the shirt either unless the club proves successful this summer.

The latest edition of the Manchester City home shirt is expected to followed by two further releases, while there is currently no indication that the club will unveil a fourth kit following on from their Oasis-inspired edition worn just twice this season.
One of PUMA’s alternative kits for the Etihad Stadium club is expected to utilise a lime green and light grey colour combination, while there is currently no further understanding on the design elements of that shirt at this stage.
Manchester City are also expected to have a black and white shirt, made predominantly of the former, for the upcoming season and once again the design elements of this shirt remain unknown.
