Flamengo moved up to second in the BrasileirĂŁo thanks to two second-half goals at Vasco de Gama.
The hosts took an early lead when Talles Magno struck in the ninth minute, finishing from close range after an incisive pass from Cayo TenĂłrio.
However, the Rubro-Negro were able to reverse the tide when LeĂł Pereira equalised just three minutes after the restart.
Diego clipped in a lovely free-kick from the right flank, allowing the centre-back to rise highest and head home.
And the MengĂŁo wrapped up the three points 20 minutes from time when Bruno Henrique showed tremendous skill and composure to latch on to a ball over the top before applying an excellent finish to beat stranded Vasco goalkeeper Fernando Miguel.
