Flamengo put together a very qualified squad and look as if they are going to continue their multiple title successes in 2021 despite not making many transfer moves between seasons.
Though they have limited resources, the Rubro-Negro are still committed to building from within and are seeking to improve their U-20 squad.
According to journalist Venê Casagrande on his YouTube channel, Flamengo are continuing to monitor the situation of Colón midfielder Facundo Farias.
This is not the first time that the journalist has linked Farias to Flamengo and it appears that a move is becoming more and more likely by the day.
Farias is already playing on Colón’s first-team but is said to be willing to join the Flamengo youth squad due to their storied history and his potential to become a first-team star.
He has featured 21 times, contributing four goals and three assists for the Argentine outfit. It’s said that the midfielder could even train with the Flamengo first-team squad this season but only to be observed.
