The Dutch clubs have strong and very dynamic players. They have great quality in the Netherlands. Twente are an excellent team so it will be very difficult for us. Every time we come to this country we face a complicated challenge.

Lazio must aim for every title. We have the quality and character to win. There are many strong teams in the Europa League, so it is not easy to win the trophy. But it’s an important opportunity for us. Tomorrow will be another very difficult match. We are here to put on a good performance and extend our good European run.

I’ll talk to the club at the end of the season. I’m not thinking about it now. I’m going strong every game on the pitch and I’ll continue to play as long as my body and mind are in a good state. At the moment I feel very comfortable at Lazio. The coach and the new players brought a change of pace. The mentality has changed too, so let’s see if we can challenge at the European level.

The team is in good shape. Everyone is working very well. In two to three years, they will all be important players. But in the meantime, we, the more experienced players, must help them because sometimes it is not easy to get going straight away. I think we have a great team even now and we will see how far we can go. There is a very high level in this squad, so we can achieve something special. What the young players lack is freedom and serenity. But each of us must enter the pitch with great determination and self-belief.
