Frank on west London derby: This is the biggest Brentford v Fulham fixture in the Premier League | OneFootball

Brentford head coach Thomas Frank believes that Sunday's west London derby against Fulham is the biggest clash between the two teams in the Premier League.

With both sides in with a chance of UEFA Europa Conference League qualification by finishing eighth, the Bees boss is "looking forward" to the game at Gtech Community Stadium this weekend.

Frank stated: "It's the final home game against our rivals, Fulham - a local derby with everything to play for.

"We'd like to finish eighth, that's the highest we'd have finished in the Premier League, which would be a fantastic target to hit, so everything is on and I'm looking forward to that.

"We really need the fans, they have been very good this season, and we need them at their very, very best on Sunday. We really need their help, as it means the world to have their support to push us forward."

Frank added: "It's our biggest game against Fulham since we've been promoted. There is more on this game, of course there is.

"But just because we want to finish eighth, it doesn't matter who we're playing... it's important that we just focus on us and our performance."

On Brentford's chances of European qualification, Frank explained: "We can't control it [due to Manchester City needing to win the FA Cup on Saturday]. Unfortunately, it's not only up to us.

"Right now, we're eighth with two games to go. We can win both games, we can lose both games - that's the beauty of this wonderful league.

"We're playing against two strong teams [Fulham and Wolves], it'll be two even games, starting with Fulham, a west London derby. I have big belief we can win, but I'm sure Fulham think the same!"
