Freiburg

Both sides enter this weekend with one aim: securing a top-four finish.

Freiburg go into the final matchday having won 2-1 against Holstein Kiel last time out, and will bring Champions League football to Breisgau for the first time ever if they follow it up with three points once again.

Three points will be enough to seal the deal, however, defeat would not prove disastrous if fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund slip up in an unlikely fashion at home against Kiel.

Julian Schuster's side, however, will be aiming to keep Dortmund as far away as possible by picking up three points.

With a goal difference of -2, Freiburg could become the first team to ever finish inside the top four with a negative goal difference, while becoming the 16th different German club to qualify for Europe's top competition.

Team News

Schuster has an almost fully-fit squad to pick from this weekend, with no member of his regular starting lineup out.

Daniel-Kofi Kyereh is the only confirmed absentee, while Eren Dincki could miss out through a muscular problem.

Eintracht Frankfurt

Visitors Frankfurt go into the final matchday with the exact same ambition as their hosts, to secure Champions League football.

Die Adler slipped up last time out against St. Pauli, with the eventual 2-2 draw leaving the club's top-four hopes to this weekend. However, unlike Freiburg, a draw would see Dino Toppmöller's men over the line.

With Frankfurt's goal difference of +20 and Dortmund's goal difference of +17, a defeat would mean that the Eagles' top-four hopes rest in the hands of Borussia Dortmund.

Doubts may linger on top of this, given the fact that Frankfurt have only won just one of their last seven Bundesliga matches on the road, against Bochum in mid-March.

However, on the flip side, Eintracht are unbeaten in their last five against Freiburg, with the visitors picking up a 4-1 win in the reverse fixture back in January.

Team News

Eintracht are missing veteran midfielder Mario Götze, who suffered a hamstring problem against Tottenham in April, alongside Kaua Santos.

Tuta may also miss out through a knee issue.
