Fulham looking to sign Walker-Peters on a free

Fulham are hoping to capture Kyle Walker-Peters on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

According to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth, the Cottagers will open talks with the player's representative following the conclusion to the 2024/25 season.

With Southampton relegated to the Championship, Walker-Peters is likely to stay in the Premier League with Fulham facing competition for the 28-year-old's signature.

The former Tottenham Hotspur academy player has been with the Saints for just over five seasons having initially joined on loan midway through the 2019/20 campaign.

Since joining Southampton, the full-back has played 201 games for the club and has chipped in with seven goals.
