Gasperini ready to embrace Roma’s project

Gian Piero Gasperini is edging closer to Roma.

The Italian manager is now the top candidate to succeed Claudio Ranieri in the capital.

Earlier today, Gasperini – who is under contract with Atalanta until 2026 – had new contacts with Roma and more specifically Ranieri himself.

According to Alfredo Pedullà, Gasperini is ready to accept Roma’s proposal and embrace the capital club’s project.

There will be another contact in the next few hours, perhaps the decisive one, with the approval of the Friedkins.
