Girona show interest in Dovbyk, players wants to stay

Artem Dovbyk is being linked with a surprise return to his former club.

Less than a year into his spell at Roma, the Ukrainian striker is rumored to be back on Girona’s radar.

The Spanish side are unhappy with their current attacking line-up and would favor the return of Dovbyk who was La Liga’s top goal-scorer last year.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Girona inquired about Dovbyk’s availability this summer.

However, the player – who has collected 16 goals so far for Roma – intends to remain in the Italian capital and prove his doubters wrong.
