MIAMI – The 2024/25 Concacaf Nations League continued Monday with the final matches in Group C of League B.
The top two teams in the standings met as Haiti defeated Puerto Rico to finish its campaign with a perfect record.
Sint Maarten concluded its campaign with a victory against relegated Aruba.
Aruba vs. Sint Maarten
Sint Maarten won 1-nil against Aruba in Group C of League B at the Estadio Centroamericano de Mayagüez in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
Javier Jimenez missed an attempt in front of goal in the 34’ as Aruba was in search of its first victory of the campaign before leaving for League C for the following edition.
Walter Bennett had the best chance for Aruba in the 61', striking the right post on an attempt inside the penalty area.
Sint Maarten went down to ten players in the 74' after a double yellow card to Ilounga Pata.
T-Shawn Illidge scored the lone goal of the match in the 90'+1 after winning the ball from the defender Mark Jacobs and chipping goalkeeper Matthew Lentink.
Sint Maarten concluded its campaign with its third victory to finish 3-0-3 in third place. Aruba concludes a winless season in fourth place.
Haiti vs. Puerto Rico
Haiti won 3-nil against Puerto Rico in Group C of League B at the Estadio Centroamericano de Mayagüez in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
Attys Christopher opened the scoring in the 29' with a header in the box to convert on a corner kick chance. Fabrice Picault provided the service from the corner flag.
Don Louicius extended the lead in the 53' after winning the ball inside the box and striking with his left foot.
Frantzdy Pierrot scored Haiti’s third in the 70', connecting in front of goal with a cross from Martin Expérience.
Haiti concluded an undefeated 6-0-0 campaign where it scored 29 goals as one of the best offenses in the CNL. Puerto Rico finished in second place with a 3-0-3 record.
