England captain Harry Kane has been given the all-clear to play for the Three Lions after suffering an injury scare with Bayern Munich over the weekend.

Kane has again been in blistering form for the German giants this season, scoring 10 goals in eight games across the Bundesliga and Champions League, but was forced off on Saturday as Bayern dropped points to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The striker, who earlier provided the assist for Michael Olise's second-half goal, collided with an opposition player to leave him sprawled on the pitch and clutching his right thigh.

Kane subsequently hobbled off, but further scans on Monday, after England captain joined the rest of the squad at St George's Park, have allayed fears of an injury

A statement from Bayern confirmed: "The examination by the doctors of the England national football team has shown that Harry Kane has no structural injury.

"The FC Bayern striker, who was substituted with an injury in the Bundesliga game at Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday evening, remains in the English association's selection for the upcoming international matches.

"Dayot Upamecano and Mathys Tel, however, had to cancel their international matches."

England play Greece at Wembley Stadium on Thursday before heading to the Helsinki Olympic Stadium on Sunday to play Finland.
