Manchester United 0 Newcastle United 2 – Monday 30 December 8pm
The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see tonight.
United dominating and blowing away Man U, who didn’t ever look like recovering from going two down inside 19 minutes.
Isak and Joelinton with the two goals and it could and should have been more, especially in a superb first half.
What a brilliant team performance.
Man U very lucky to lose by only two.
Another winning snapshot post-match.
Another photo = The twelfth of this season.
The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
(It is actually the thirteenth victory of the season for United but for whatever reasons, no winning photo after the win over AFC Wimbledon. Can only guess winning 1-0 at home to League Two opposition might have looked a ‘little’ lame.)
Five photos (victories!) in a row.
Great to see.
It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.
‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’
I absolutely love it.
Nineteen more Premier League games to go, as well as fingers crossed plenty more cup matches, so hopefully many more of these photos to come.
