This Sunday, Guadalajara will return to Liga MX action as they host Xolos de Tijuana at the Akron Stadium for Day 6 of the Clausura 2025. This is a very important match for the Rebaño, who need to win to climb up the table and, in turn, gain confidence and recover their best footballing version.
As we told you earlier, the opponent is Xolos: a team that has recently been characterized by its bravery and good soccer, which makes it clear that the task will not be easy for Chivas. However, there are a couple of facts that reflect how well Guadalajara is doing when they host the Borderers in the Perla Tapatía, which we will break down below.
Guadalajara's home streak against Tijuana
The last 4 duels between the two that took place at the Akron Stadium ended in victory for the Rebaño Sagrado. That's right, Chivahermanos, the last time Xolos took points from the Perla Tapatía was on October 30, 2019, when they beat Chiverío by the minimum difference.
In fact, there is another record that completely reflects what this rivalry has been like when they face each other in Guadalajara. It turns out that in 6 of the last 7 clashes, Chivas took all 3 points. Within this streak, the goal-scoring total is also very uneven, as Chivas managed to score 11 goals, while Xolos only scored 4.
