Getafe head coach José Bordalás has been sanctioned with a two-match suspension, owing to his actions in the club’s most recent outing.
Getafe marked their return to action this past Wednesday, making the trip to Andalusia for a La Liga meeting with Real Betis.
When all was said and done, the Azulones were condemned to the wrong side of a 2-1 result, making it back-to-back defeats in the space of just four days.
Upon the clash coming to a close, boss Bordalás, in turn, allowed his emotions to get the better of him.
First, the Spanish tactician was shown a red card, for leaving his technical area to take aim at referee Pulido Santana.
Then, in response to the actions of the man in charge at the Estadio Benito Villamarín, Bordalás hit out, shouting ‘how brave you are’ at Santana.
And, as alluded to above, on Friday, Getafe’s headmaster has been made aware of his punishment.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, Bordalás has been hit with a two-match ban, one for his dismissal, and another for his ensuing jibe.
