The ghost goal is at it again.
It was a genuinely entertaining 90 minutes of football between France and Italy at the U21 Euros on Thursday before the match ended in controversy.
Goals at either end and a red card ensured this tournament opener had some drama, but that was all brushed aside in the dying moments.
France were leading 2-1 and as the Italians pressed for their second equaliser, Raoul Bellanova eventually had the ball in the net for 2-2.
It looked well, well, over the line, even before Castello Lukeba cleared the chance.
However, the referee decided it was not a goal. Is this already the robbery of the summer?
