During the previous transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur were one of a host of sides who opted to engage in some transfer business.

As well as securing the services of Pedro Porro and Arnaut Danjuma, Spurs also decided to sanction departures in January.

One of the individuals who was allowed to leave the club on a temporary basis was Harvey White.

White sealed a loan move to Derby County on transfer deadline day after making one appearance for Tottenham in the Premier League earlier this season.

Here, we have decided to take a look at how White has been getting on at Pride Park since making this particular switch…

When you consider that White was behind the likes of Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentacur and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the pecking order at Tottenham, it did not come as too much of a shock when he was allowed to join Derby.

The 21-year-old made his debut for the Rams in their meeting with Morecambe earlier this month.

Introduced as a substitute by Derby head coach Paul Warne, White managed to show some real signs of promise during this cameo display.

As well having 42 touches of the ball, the midfielder managed to register a pass success rate of 94% in this fixture (as per Sofascore).

White managed to complete one accurate cross and registered one shot on target which was saved by Morecambe goalkeeper Connor Ripley.

The midfielder also made one tackle and won one ground duel as he showed glimpses of what he is capable of producing in a defensive sense.

Whereas White would have been hoping to start for the Rams in their clash with Wycombe Wanderers last weekend, he was once again deployed as a substitute in this fixture.

White was only given a short amount of time to make a difference for Derby and was ultimately unable to prevent the club from suffering a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Wycombe Wanderers.

In the nine minutes that he played, White completed nine of the 11 passes that he attempted and made one clearance as he recorded a Sofascore match rating of 6.5.

With Derby set to take on Lincoln City tonight, it will be interesting to see whether Warne decides to name White in the club’s starting eleven.

Given that the Rams are looking to secure an immediate return to the Championship next year, they will be hoping that White will be able to help them achieve this goal by producing a number of eye-catching displays in the third-tier.
