The St. Mary’s faithful have endured a year of pain in the Premier League, winning just twice to record 12 points, and becoming the first team in the division to lose 30 times in a 38-game season.

Ahead of the upcoming transfer window, Football League World has broken down the Saints’ current squad valuation and where some of their futures lie.

There is a running theme in Southampton’s highest valued players, with young, promising stars topping the list.

4 players who could leave St. Mary's this summer

Aaron Ramsdale

As often with relegated teams, Southampton are sure to be the subject of a Premier League raid this summer.

Aaron Ramsdale joined the Saints in 2024 after two Premier League title challenges with Arsenal, albeit watching on from the bench for his final season at the Emirates.

Despite suffering his third relegation from the top-flight, the 27-year-old has proven his credentials as a capable 'keeper at the highest level, which means it is highly unlikely Ramsdale will remain at the club next term.

Clubs such as West Ham United have been touted to move for the shot-stopper this summer, according to Alan Nixon.

Tyler Dibling

The teenager was infamously given a £100 million price tag according to the Telegraph, and it would be hard to imagine any club forking out that fee.

However, clubs such as Newcastle United and Tottenham are reportedly interested in acquiring the midfielder’s services for a lower sum, according to GIVEMESPORT.

The Saints may be forced to cash in on Dibling following their second relegation in three years, and if a sizeable amount of cash could be acquired for the teenager's services, the South Coast club may be able to put the extra transfer budget to good use next term.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis

Taylor Harwood-Bellis only joined the Saints permanently last summer following the club's promotion to the Premier League, but could be set for a St.Mary's exit in the upcoming transfer window.

As per talkSPORT, West Ham and Crystal Palace have been alerted to the possibility of signing the Southampton defender following the club's relegation.

Although this would be a heavy blow for Will Still's side, the Saints would be sure to recoup a large sum, with Harwood-Bellis currently ranked as their most valuable player.

Mateus Fernandes

Fernandes, 20, played in 34 of Southampton's 38 Premier League games during their relegation campaign, chipping in with two goals and four assists for the season-long strugglers. A goal and two assists also came in the EFL Cup, albeit against Cardiff City and Stoke City - two EFL sides.

As per Alan Nixon, Leeds United and Crystal Palace are both interested in the Portuguese midfielder.

His fee will probably be substantially higher than what transfermarkt note it is here, though.
