Teams from the Championship and League One are believed to be interested in a move for Louie Marsh.
Huddersfield Town and Barnsley are among the EFL teams interested in a move for Sheffield United attacker Louie Marsh.
According to the Daily Mail, as many as four League One sides are interested in a move for the 21-year-old, who is unlikely to win much game time at Bramall Lane between now and the end of the 2024/25 campaign.
The Blades have improved their attacking department during this window, with Ben Brereton Diaz (loan) and Tom Cannon both making the move to South Yorkshire, as Chris Wilder's side look to give themselves the best chance of securing a Premier League return at the first time of asking.
He may have scored against Wrexham in the EFL Cup earlier this season and been in United's matchday squad on numerous occasions during this campaign, but his appearances have been limited, and their January business won't help the young attacker to secure more game time.
An injury crisis at Bramall Lane could open up a first-team spot for Marsh again, but he can't rely on this to get more game time, having been left out of the matchday squad for the Blades' clash against Hull City last Friday.
According to the Daily Mail, the player is attracting interest from teams in the Championship and the third tier.
The second-tier suitors haven't been named, but from the third tier, the Tykes, the Terriers, Stevenage and Stockport County are all interested in a move for the 21-year-old at this stage.
With the player not winning much game time at Bramall Lane and only having 18 months left on his contract, his future remains unclear at this stage.
United could potentially tie him down to a new deal before sending him out on loan - or they may decide to cash in on him.
At this point though, Wilder still has high hopes for the player and is keen to opt for a loan move at this stage.
Marsh is a promising player who clearly has potential, as an England youth international.
And the opportunity to stay at Bramall Lane during the second half of the season could be appealing for the attacker, with the club firmly in the automatic promotion mix.
But he needs to put his career first and go out on loan.
A move down to the third tier could provide him with the opportunity to win more game time.
