Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain supporters have clashed in Paris ahead of their Champions League meeting on Wednesday.
Social media footage showed the two sets of fans engaged in a mass brawl outside a busy bar, with punches, chairs and glasses thrown in violent scenes.
It is not clear how the melee started, but Villa supporters were reportedly attacked when they were drinking in the bar.
The two clubs have no history of animosity, as they have never met in European competition.
The brawl broke out on the streets of Paris just 24 hours before their Champions League clash.
PSG have been excellent this season under Luis Enrique. They wrapped up the Ligue 1 title with six matches remaining after beating Angers 1-0 over the weekend.
They reached the Champions League quarter-finals after knocking out tournament favourites Liverpool in the previous round.
However, Villa will fancy their chances on Wednesday. They enter the fixture on the back of a seven-game winning run.
They stormed into the final eight after an emphatic 6-1 aggregate win over Club Brugge in the last 16.
The Midlands outfit followed that up with three consecutive victories across all competitions.
