Danny Rohl has reportedly left Sheffield Wednesday
Premier League and Bundesliga-linked Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl has decided to leave the South Yorkshire club.
That's according to talkSPORT, who have reported on Thursday morning that the 36-year-old will quit his post at Hillsborough.
The German manager is understood to have job offers lined up following his Owls departure, with strong links to Southampton emerging alongside interest from the Premier League, Bundesliga and Saudi Arabia.
Rohl signed a contract extension with Sheffield Wednesday in May 2024, on which he has two years remaining. His release clause is said to be around £5 million.
The news follows a cascade of cryptic interviews from Rohl, in which he has spoken to local and national press about his desire to further his career.
Rohl's 24/25 stint with the Owls has been nothing if not turbulent: the South Yorkshire side briefly flirted with a play-off position before off field issues - late HMRC bills and unpaid staff and player wages - appeared to influence on-pitch performances.
