Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus have all sounded out a move for Arsenal owned Lazio wingback Nuno Tavares.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero, via FCInterNews.
Tavares has been one of the outstanding performers for Lazio at the start of this season.
The Biancocelesti signed the Portuguese international from Arsenal during the summer.
Tavares joined Lazio on loan. However, the capital club have an obligation to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent basis should certain conditions be met.
Reportedly, the fee would be around €8 million. Additionally, Arsenal would also have a sell-on clause.
Tavares has thrived over the first half of the season at the Stadio Olimpico.
Lazio coach Marco Baroni relies a lot on the attacking contributions from wide players. And Tavares has really made the most of this.
The Portuguese has made eight assists so far in Serie A. That is the most of any player in the Italian top flight.
In recent week, Tavares’s eye-watering assist rate has dropped off. However, he has remained a key player for the Biancocelesti with his pace, energy, and runs into the final third.
And Il Messagero report that Tavares’s form has not gone unnoticed by some of Serie A’s biggest clubs.
The newspaper report that all of Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus have sounded out a move for the former Benfica and Nottingham Forest wingback.
