Inter Milan and Juventus are both eyeing up a move for Bologna striker Santiago Castro next summer transfer window.
This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews.
Castro has been one of the real breakout talents for Bologna this season.
The Emilian club sold Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United in the summer. That left a big void in attack, with the Dutchman having been their attacking talisman last campaign.
However, it has been Castro who’s stepped up to fill the vacancy.
Castro has scored four goals and assisted three this season so far.
However, the 20-year-old has brought far more to the team than just goals and assists.
Castro has also provided a real focal point in attack. His high energy style of play has given the Rossoblu a strong defensive presence leading the line, as well as linkup play.
Castro’s style of play has marked him out as a similar player to another Argentine striker, Inter captain Lautaro Martinez.
However, it’s not just the Nerazzurri who see the 20-year-old as a target, reports Mediaset.
Juventus are also eyeing Castro up, according to the broadcaster.
The Bianconeri could be aiming to find a succession plan for Dusan Vlahovic.
