Nicola Zalewski says Inter Milan are “not giving up until we’re mathematically done” in the Serie A title race.

The 23-year-old spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInterNews, ahead of today’s match.

Inter Milan take on Como this evening in Serie A.

The Nerazzurri will of course be hoping to take three points off of their Lombard rivals in their last league match of the season.

However, the result of Napoli’s clash with Cagliari is just as important.

If the Partenopei are to win their match, then there is nothing that Inter can do, as they will finish the season in second.

However, Inter will certainly feel that there’s no guarantee of any result in Naples. Therefore, they will hardly give up hope.

Last weekend, Napoli dropped points away to Parma. However, Inter failed to capitalize, as they also drew their own match against Lazio.

Therefore, the last thing Inter will want is for the same regrets all over again.

Inter Milan wingback Nicola Zalewski said that “as long as we’re not mathematically done, we’ll go for it.”

“It won’t be easy,” the Polish international admitted.

“We know the kind of team Como are. And our rivals have a great chance, which they deserve.”

“But we’re here to keep believing in it,” Nicola Zalewski insisted.

The Pole admitted that “we have regrets over what happened against Lazio.”

“But we’re here to play for the Scudetto right until the end. This is a symptom of a team that keeps believing until the end.”

Zalewski then added that “I’m fired up, and the team is fired up” for the Champions League final next weekend.

“This is an opportunity not to be missed. A lot of my teammates have already played in this match.”

“But first, we have to play our last league match,” the 23-year-old made clear. “You never know what will happen.”
