Intr star Yann Sommer discussed his passion for American singer Bruce Springsteen, but he won’t be able to see him live at San Siro next year as the Nerazzurri will be involved in the Club World Cup.

Inter keeper Sommer opened up about his passion for Springsteen during his latest interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Sommer was supposed to watch Springsteen live at San Siro this past summer, but the 75-year-old rescheduled his concerts in Milan due to a peptic ulcer.

“I’d love to see him live. Bruce represents the afternoons at home as a kid; listening to my father’s records, I’ve read the book and listened to the podcast he did with Obama,” Sommer said.

“I love what he plays and sings and the ideas that he represents.”

Springsteen returns to San Siro next year, precisely on June 30 and July 3, for rescheduled concerts, but Sommer will likely be preparing for the Club World Cup with the Nerazzurri in the USA.

Sommer is not the only Serie A personality with a passion for Springsteen. Ex-Italian stars Roberto Baggio and Massimo Ambrosini were spotted at a Boss concert in Ferrara in 2023.

During the same interview, Sommer also discussed Inter’s performances and results this season and agreed with Leo Messi that Lautaro Martinez should win the 2024 Ballon d’Or.
