A historic year! As AS Monaco celebrates its Centenary of existence (1924-2024), it is an opportune time to pay tribute to the rich history of the Red and Whites. It was against this backdrop, after almost 13 years at the helm of the club, that President Dmitry Rybolovlev gave an interview broadcasted on the club’s platforms.

A history linked to the Princely family

“AS Monaco is a club with a great history. More than just a club, it’s a team that represents a country,” explained Dmitry Rybolovlev at the outset, adding that this history is closely linked to that of the Princely family: “For several generations, they have supported our club. On several occasions, I have seen His Serene Highness encourage the team and support it with great sincerity. Her support is very important to us.”

Training at the heart of success

During the interview, President Rybolovlev also spoke of the institution’s loyal supporters – “AS Monaco is a big family of supporters, who support us not only in Monaco, but more globally around the world. They are the best!” – and also stressed the importance of training for the club : “AS Monaco is also a club of which I am proud, with many trophies to its name, and which has developed an excellent Academy, training many world-renowned players.”
