Mehdi Taremi could start tomorrow’s Serie A clash between Torino and Inter Milan.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They also report that Stefan de Vrij, Carlos Augusto, and Piotr Zielinski will come into the Inter eleven.
Tomorrow’s match will admittedly represent something of a comedown from Inter’s Champions League heroics in midweek. The Nerazzurri triumphed 4-3 over Barcelona to book their place in the final.
Nevertheless, the remaining league matches of the season are still crucial. Even if perhaps Europe is now the real priority.
Inter will still have hope that Napoli could slip up in one of their last three matches. Therefore, they won’t want to have the regret of failing to take advantage of any such scenarios.

Inter Milan will be without their captain Lautaro Martinez due to injury.
Meanwhile, striker Marcus Thuram put in a massive shift against Barcelona in midweek, as the match went the distance in extra time.
Therefore, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will rotate in attack.
And according to the Gazzetta, the Nerazzurri coach could hand a starting opportunity to Mehdi Taremi.
The Iranian former Porto striker came off the bench against Barcelona. He in fact provided the assist for Davide Frattesi’s extra time winner.
The Gazzetta report that this time out, Taremi could get the nod from the first minute.
Meanwhile, the Gazzetta predict, Stefan de Vrij will replace Francesco Acerbi in the back three. And Carlos Augusto will take the place of Federico Dimarco at left-wingback.
