Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola revealed that Evanilson needs more training time to recover from his recent foot injury.
The Brazilian was named as an unused substitute in the Cherries' 1-0 loss against Wolves on Saturday, but Iraola was cautious about Evanilson's chances of featuring against Brighton on Tuesday.
"With Eva, the problem is not his injury, it’s that he hasn’t trained.
“He has recovered from the injury but when you have a bone injury, it’s not like other injuries where you can train or run or sprint, you can do a lot of things.
“With the foot injury on the bone, you have to wait until it heals with a boot on for two or three weeks," Iraola said.
Evanilson hasn't featured since coming off injured in Bournemouth's 1-0 win against Everton on January 4.
The Cherries are sixth in the Premier League and sit just one point behind fourth-placed Man City.
