Anna Csiki is excited for our return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend.
Following Wednesday’s trip to Everton in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, our attention now turns back to the Barclays Women’s Super League with Manchester United the visitors to N17 on Sunday evening (6.45pm UK).
While this was our 12th WSL fixture at the world-class stadium since 2019, it will be just Anna’s second-ever visit there, having previously been in the matchday squad for the north London derby back in November.
Joining us in the summer from BK Hacken, the midfielder was taken away when she stepped on to the pitch for the first time at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is relishing the opportunity of being back there on Sunday.
“It was unbelievable,” she said, looking back at her first trip to N17. “I remember before the game when I walked on to the pitch, I was like ‘wow, this is big, this huge’ so I really enjoyed every single minute being around the stadium and seeing it for the first time.
“When I signed for Spurs, I knew I signed for a Club that has a really big fanbase, the supporters love this Club, and I just feel so proud being part of it.
“To then experience the fans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was even more special, especially because my family was in the stands for our last visit there.
“I’m really excited for our game against Manchester United, to be at the stadium once again and around the fans."
