He has referred to said player as a disappointment and says that his feet are too quick for his brain.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now looking at versatile Bundesliga defender for potential pending move!

It’s probably fairly obvious by now which player he is speaking about, and if you haven’t guessed it yet, it is winger Mykhailo Mudryk, or ‘Misha’ as he is known by his manager and team mates.

Mudryk has certainly split opinions since he arrived at the club as this big new signing that Chelsea really hyped up as a club. But things haven’t exactly gone to plan yet, and Mudryk is finding himself as a deep backup option at the moment this season under Enzo Maresca.

Cundy doesn’t rate Mudryk

Mudryk has not yet lived up to expectations

‘There’s always going to be players like Mudryk who don’t work, who haven’t worked,’ he said on talkSPORT when discussing Chelsea’s transfer strategy in recent years.

‘I think he has got to go out on loan. I don’t see a place for him at the moment. He’s now behind Sancho, he’s behind Neto, he’s behind Noni Madueke, he’s behind Joao Felix.

‘He’s way down that pecking order for me. I don’t see a player in there because you know you have got football IQ.

‘He is rapid, but at times I feel as though the pace, his feet are too quick for his brain, he can’t quite adjust quick enough. He has got so much under the bonnet, but boy, does he disappoint.’
