Paris Saint-Germain are long-time admirers of Joshua Kimmich (30) and they have now made their move. Bild and Sky Sports Germany have both revealed that, with the German international’s contract expiring this summer, PSG have made concrete steps to sign the player, making a contract proposal.
PSG are offering Kimmich a contract that runs until 2029. Sky Sports understands that this is one of two offers at the player’s disposal. The identity of the other bidder has not yet been revealed, although the publication did cite interest from Arsenal. However, for now, Kimmich is yet to respond to Les Parisiens’ contract offer.
Sky Sports report that the offer on the table has been neither accepted nor rejected. In the meantime, positive talks have taken place between the player and Max Eberl regarding a contract extension. During these talks, Kimmich expressed a willingness to extend his current deal with the Bavarian club. Further talks between the two parties are planned and are set to get underway imminently.
