Whilst the Bianconeri currently find themselves in a defensive crisis following the recent long-term injuries of Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal, Juventus have added Chelsea Frenchman Benoit Bediashile within their short-list for the winter transfer window.

After having recently made his transfer from Hellas Verona in the summer, the Colombian international’s debut season with the Old Lady has already come to an end following the diagnosis of an ACL tear that occurred earlier this week.

With coach Thiago Motta currently scarce in pawns to deploy in defense, the Bianconeri plot to address this issue within the upcoming winter market.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Benoit Bedashile has been identified as a target for the January transfer window to provide reinforcements within the back-line.

Since joining the London Blues from French side Monaco for a staggering €38m in January 2023, the 23 year-old has only made a total of 30 appearances across all competitions.

Throughout this year’s campaign, the French international has only made a single appearance for Chelsea, seemingly failing to impress Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca, possibly opening the option for Juventus to lure the defender’s services on either a loan or a permanent deal given the lack of playing time.
