Juventus are reportedly interested in two different Everton strikers according to reports from two separate outlets in Italy over the weekend, as Cristiano Giuntoli looks to provide Thiago Motta with a back-up to Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic is currently the only fit and available senior centre-forward in the Bianconeri squad. Arkadiusz Milik is out indefinitely, while Timothy Weah is considered more of a winger than a no.9.

Signing a new striker is among the club’s priorities for next summer’s transfer window, but the Old Lady are also interested in picking up another defender and centre-forward on loan in January.

After a summer of heavy investments, Juve are unlikely to make any permanent signings in January.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, former Udinese striker Beto is an option that is enticing the Bianconeri recruitment team.

The Guinea-Bissau international is out of favour under Sean Dyche and could potentially be made available in January. Juventus also appreciate the fact that he is already familiar with Serie A, having hit double figures in the league during both of his two seasons with Udinese.

Roma are also reportedly interested in bringing the 26-year-old back to Serie A.

Coincidentally, Corriere dello Sport have also suggested former England international Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a potential option for Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window.

His contract is due to expire at the end of the 2024-25 season, and currently looks likely to leave for a fresh start away from Merseyside.

Juventus could be in a position to offer him a deal as a free agent, but there are currently several strikers who could be available next summer. Jonathan David is still a more likely option.
