Juventus Open Talks with Chelsea for Two Players

Juventus have started haggling with Chelsea to keep hold of Renato Veiga, who has helped their defense stay afloat amid a wave of injuries. The youngster has convinced two coaches thanks to his maturity and talent.

According to TuttoSport, the center-back is under contract until 2031. It’s possible for him to leave on loan again. The Bianconeri wish to concoct another temporary spell with a conditioned obligation to buy. It’d help lower the price for a permanent signing.

During the discussions for Veiga, Juventus have been offered Christopher Nkunku, who has asked out because he doesn’t see eye-to-eye with coach Enzo Maresca. The Old Lady will think about it.

Per Alfredo Pedullà, the Bianconeri plan to sign two strikers after selling Dusan Vlahovic and Arkadiusz Milik, even should they land Victor Osimhen. They are keeping tabs on Lorenzo Lucca and Nenad Krstovic. Randal Kolo Muani would like to stay, but he’s pricey. It’d be more likely if PSG agreed to another loan. They have been proposed Rasmus Hojlund, while Jonathan David is closer to Napoli.

Our Take on Juventus, Veiga, and Nkunku

The defender has been a pleasant surprise and a revelation from a character and leadership standpoint. He’s deserving to stay, but it’ll hinge on his price tag and on the outcome and costs of their other chases in the same role. If they don’t sell anybody, one or two additions, one of which top-end, would suffice.

As for the striker, if they somehow get their hands on Osimhen, his deputy would have to be somebody reliable but affordable. Otherwise, they might as well keep Kolo Muani and bring in a worthy competitor.
