Juventus are anxiously awaiting news after Dusan Vlahovic limped off with a muscular problem during Serbia’s Nations League match, leaving him in doubt to face Milan.

The striker was playing in this evening’s 0-0 draw with Denmark when he pulled up clutching the back of his right thigh.

Following a spell of treatment on the pitch in the final minutes of the game, he limped off and asked to be substituted.

The initial details are sparse on whether he just felt a twinge or suffered any significant damage, so that should only become clear when he returns to Turin for tests.

Juventus have reason to be concerned, because their Serie A showdown with Milan is coming up on Saturday at San Siro.

It would be a devastating blow for coach Thiago Motta, because there are already injury problems running throughout the attack.

They are missing Nico Gonzalez, Vasilije Adzic, Arkadiusz Milik and Douglas Luiz.

Juan Cabal already picked up a serious injury on international duty with Colombia during this break and is out for six months with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
