Barcelona are facing another setback as midfielder Dani Olmo is expected to be sidelined for two to three weeks due to an injury sustained during the match against Osasuna.
According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Olmo, who was on the scoresheet last night, collapsed just four minutes later, around the 27th minute, after feeling pain in his groin.
Medical staff rushed to assist him and immediately requested a substitution once it was clear that the pain was significant.
While he is scheduled to undergo further tests on Friday, the initial examinations have already confirmed that he will be unavailable for some crucial upcoming fixtures.
This includes the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-finals against Atletico Madrid next Wednesday. Additionally, he will miss the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals against Borussia Dortmund on April 9 at home.
Although the initial estimation suggested he would be out for two weeks, it could stretch to three, depending on his recovery process.

Barcelona’s priority now is to ensure Olmo is fit and ready for the return leg against Borussia Dortmund, scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at Signal Iduna Park.
Missing him for those matches is a huge blow for Barcelona, especially considering the critical stage of the season they are currently navigating.
It must be noted that Olmo left the stadium visibly frustrated but appreciated the warm reception and standing ovation from the home crowd.
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick was also noticeably disappointed, as the cameras captured his concern following the injury.
The situation is particularly frustrating for Flick since Olmo had only recently played 84 minutes against the Netherlands during the Spanish national team’s last international match.
Meanwhile, this unfortunate setback opens the door for other players like Fermin Lopez and Pablo Torre, who have both shown their potential and readiness to contribute when needed.
