Kvicha Kvaratskhelia has reportedly “sealed” a blockbuster move to PSG from Napoli in the January transfer window.
The Georgia winger last week told the Serie A side that he wished to leave the club, manager Antonio Conte revealed.
It’s taken a matter of days for PSG to do a deal for the 23-year-old, who had also been linked with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.
Kvaratskhelia will sign a four-and-a-half-year contract after the two clubs agreed a transfer package in excess of £59 million (€70m), according to RMC Sport.
The player will undergo a medical this week before the deal is officially confirmed, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer reporter claims that PSG sporting director Luis Campos “closed the deal verbally” on Monday, while Napoli and PSG presidents Aurelio de Laurentiis and Nasser Al-Khelaifi “sealed” the arrangement on Tuesday.
Kvaratskhelia, who move to Naples from Dinamo Batumi for a reported fee of €10–12 million in 2022, played a key role in the club’s Scudetto success in his debut season. He has recorded 59 goal involvements in 107 appearances across all competitions.
