Kylian Mbappé responds to Real Madrid’s defeat to Barcelona | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has taken to social media on Monday, to release a defiant message.

This of course comes after Los Blancos saw their remaining hopes of silverware for the campaign brought to an end at the hands of arch rivals Barcelona.

Real made the trip to Catalunya’s capital on Sunday, for the season’s final edition of El Clásico.

The aforementioned Mbappé for his part featured from the off in the clash, and, following the full-time whistle in a 4-3 defeat, was one of few members of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad who could hold his head high.

This came after the Frenchman rattled off a fine hat-trick.

Mbappé had since remained tight-lipped, facing up to a debut campaign on the books of Real Madrid without a single title to show for his efforts.

As alluded to above, though, on Monday evening, the attacker has spoken out.

In a post on his official Instagram account, Mbappé unveiled a photo of himself looking downtrodden, accompanied by the caption:

‘Painful but we will come back. Hala Madrid!’
