Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has this week moved to reveal his appreciation for the club’s supporters.

This comes after the Frenchman was rewarded for his efforts over recent weeks by way of the award for Real Madrid Player of the Month.

Frontman Mbappé for his part enjoyed a fruitful December in the colours of Los Blancos, racking up four goals and an assist in five appearances across all competitions.

Despite teammate Jude Bellingham having scooped the La Liga Player of the Month prize, Real’s fans opted for Mbappé as their choice, a timely confidence boost for a player who has endured a tough time of things since his summer arrival in Spain.

After being handed his latest individual accolade, the 26-year-old was therefore keen to make clear his gratitude to all who voted for him.

Speaking to Mahou, in quotes gathered by Madrid Xtra on ‘X’, Mbappé explained:

“Thank you to the fans for voting for me. December was an important month for me and for the team. We won a title, many La Liga matches and an important Champions League match.”
