PSG and Kylian Mbappe parted ways last summer after the player joined Real Madrid as a free agent at the end of his contract.
Despite the end of their direct connection with each other, however, both parties have regularly met at various judicial levels over the settlement of a financial transaction Mbappe sees to be pending.
The player claims the non-payment of a €36.6 million contractual bonus, three months salary of €5.75 million each and half a million ethical bonuses for each of the three aforementioned months – all amounting to a total of €55.4 million.

Mbappe has raised the case against PSG, who claim that he gave up the bonuses when he left the club, at two sporting courts so far and the decision has gone his way on both accounts.
Indeed, it was the Legal Commission in September last year and the Joint Commission in October who both ruled in Mbappe’s favour.
PSG meanwhile took the case to the ordinary judiciary before the Paris Labor Court while Mbappe’s representatives escalated the matter to the higher sporting court – the Superior Appeals Commission.
Now, as relayed by SPORT, the Superior Appeals Commission of the French Football Federation have been inhibited from the case in what comes as a huge blow to the player’s chances of winning the case.
It has come to light now that such a contractual issue must be presented only in front of the ordinary court and not that of the FFF, playing the ball in PSG’s favour for the first time.
With the normal judiciary known to take longer to resolve disputes, Mbappe can be reassured that a final verdict will not come anytime soon. Moreover, there is now a good chance the ruling favours Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Co.
