Barcelona star Lamine Yamal on Wednesday secured for himself another piece of football history.

This came owing to his exploits in Barca’s showdown with Inter Milan.

Hansi Flick’s troops of course marked their return to action last night, welcoming Italian champions Inter to Catalunya’s capital for a Champions League semi-final clash.

The aforementioned Lamine, meanwhile, featured from the off in the clash, despite a fitness scare during Barcelona’s warm-up.

And to say that the 17-year-old went on to impress over the course of the 90 minutes would be something of an understatement.

Taking the game by the scruff of the neck after seeing his side fall two goals behind early on, Lamine dazzled from his berth on the right flank, finding the net and carving out a whole host of further goalscoring opportunities en route to a thrilling 3-3 draw.

And as alluded to above, in the process, the Spanish international made history once more.

After directing home a wonderful first-half finish against Inter, Lamine became the youngest player to ever score in a Champions League semi-final, breaking the record of Real Madrid counterpart (then of AS Monaco) Kylian Mbappé.
