Lazio Have a Transfer Deficit of Only €24m Since 2016, 10th Best in Serie A | OneFootball

Lazio have a deficit of only €24 million across the last 10 transfer windows, the 10th best in Serie A, according to a report from football news outlet CIES yesterday.

The report details how the Biancocelesti have spent €213 million since the summer of 2016, bringing in players like Ciro Immobile, Lucas Leiva, Joaquin Correa, Francesco Acerbi and Vedat Muriqi.

In the same period, Lazio have generated €189 million through player sales, with their highest earning sales being Felipe Anderson to West Ham (€38 million), Keita Balde to Monaco (€30 million), Antonio Candreva to Inter (€22 million) and Pedro Neto to Wolves (€18 million).

These figures see Lazio sit comfortably in the middle of all Serie A teams, 10th overall, with a deficit of €24 million.

The Italian club with the biggest deficit is Inter, who have spent €664 million and earnt €278 million since the summer of 2016, leaving them €386 million in the red.

Other clubs with large deficits include AC Milan (-€311 million), Juventus (-€249 million) and Napoli (-€165 million).

The Serie A clubs with the best positive balance are Atalanta (+€133 million), Sampdoria (+€76 million) and Genoa (+€75 million).
