Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi has emphatically denied rumours about his future after a starring performance against Lecce.

The Italian international made clear that he’s “extremely happy to stay” speaking to DAZN after the match, via FCInterNews. He described the Nerazzurri as “like a family.”

All this month, the transfer rumours have swirled around Frattesi.

Reportedly, the 25-year-old has grown discontent with his lack of playing time at Inter.

Therefore, rumours suggest, Frattesi has pushed for a move to a new club.

Reportedly, Roma are very keen on signing the former Sassuolo midfielder. And Frattesi, for his part, would welcome a return to his boyhood club the Giallorossi, according to rumours.

Inter, on the other hand, are in no hurry to sell Davide Frattesi in January.

And if the Nerazzurri were to consider allowing the Italian international to leave it would have to be for a very high fee.

But in the meantime, Frattesi has remained an Inter player. He has made a number of appearances this month, and today against Lecce, he was in the starting eleven.

As far as his future, Davide Frattesi said that his message to the fans is “that I’m extremely happy to stay here.”

“From the players in the squad to all the coaching staff,” he went on. “They’re all like a family.”

“And I try to repay them any way that I can.”

Frattesi added, “Sometimes things go well and sometimes not.”

“But I’m happy here,” he made clear.
