Leicester City are in the recently opened transfer market already - and they are ready to conduct some much-needed business. The LCFC defence is massively inadequate and it appears Foxes bosses have admitted that problem. The east Midlands outfit reportedly wish to sign a decent Premier League full back. And, somewhat surprisingly, we believe the footballer in question would be an upgrade on James Justin.
Ostensibly, Leicester will attempt to back latest manager Ruud van Nistelrooy this month. Naturally they are trying to retain their top flight status. So who is this mystery defender City are said to covet as a replacement, or competition, for the struggling Justin? Would the potential acquisition be a good signing? And is a deal between the two clubs likely considering they are direct rivals with respect to the current season?
And, in addition to that specific target, there are other positions the Leicestershire side would like to strengthen. Claims suggest they'd ideally wish to bring in a new centre back. Happily, there is a rumour that Justin's spot is under threat. Ordinarily I wouldn't advocate replacing the England international with Kyle Walker-Peters. But the Southampton man has seemed much more assured than the Fox when attacking this term. Walker-Peters can now speak to foreign clubs because of his contract situation:
