Ligue 2 Sochaux make offer for Lorient striker Adrian Grbić

As reported by RMC, Ligue 2 club Sochaux have made a bid to sign Lorient’s Austrian frontman Adrian Grbić.

Grbić cost Lorient £8.1m in summer 2020 but he has struggled to find any form in Ligue 1 having moved from then second-tier Clermont. Grbić, however, does have a strong reputation in the French second division have been prolific for Clermont before his move with 17 goals in 26 games during the 2019/20 season.

Nevertheless, despite struggling for game time at struggling FCL, Grbić refused Sochaux’s offer of a loan. So far, 52 outings for Lorient have produced just five goals for the 25-year-old across all competitions.
