Lille predicted XI v Monaco: Jonathan David to start, Angel Gomes on the bench | OneFootball

Lille OSC will start with Jonathan David up top as they take on AS Monaco on Saturday afternoon, however, Chuba Akpom may still retain a place in the starting XI.

Matias Fernandez-Pardo has recovered from injury and is part of Lille’s matchday squad, however, he is not expected to start and with Osame Sahraoui also out for Bruno Genesio’s side, Akpom may get the nod. Mitchel Bakker (suspended) and Tiago Santos, Samuel Umtiti, Rémy Cabella and Edon Zhegrova (injury) all remain out.

With Genesio blessed with choices in midfield, England international Angel Gomes will likely have to once again settle for a place on the bench, whilst the return of Nabil Bentaleb, who netted on his return from a cardiac arrest last week, provides further competition in that sector.
