A second-half rally saw Liverpool comfortable see off Karlsruher in their opening pre-season friendly.
Scorers: Stindl 39âČ, Jung 51âČ; NĂșñez 3âČ, Gakpo 70âČ, Jota 90+2, 90+3
Summer signing Dominik Szoboszlai was handed a first outing alongside seven first-team regulars in JĂŒrgen Kloppâs starting line-up.
Jordan Henderson was a notable pre-match absentee for the encounter as he stood on the verge of a move to the Saudi Pro League.
Alisson also missed the runout game at Wildparkstadion as a precaution, with understudy Caoimhin Kelleher taking his place in goal.
The Reds took an early lead courtesy of Darwin NĂșñez rolling the ball home after being teed up by Mohamed Salah in the third minute.
That advantage was cancelled out shortly before the interval when Lars Stindl produced a stunning volley from just inside the penalty area.
Sebastian Jung put the hosts ahead early in the second half by beating Kelleher at his near post with a drilled effort into the roof of the net.
But Cody Gapko drew Liverpool level in the final 20 minutes with a shot on the turn after being teed up by Diogo Jota.
Jota would later have the last word with two goals in as many stoppage-time minutes, both of them coolly-taken finish from close range.
