Robertson, Jota and Nunez fitness doubts for the Reds
Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of three players ahead of their Champions League clash with Bologna.
The Reds beat Wolves 2-1 on Saturday thanks to goals from Ibrahima Konate and Mohamed Salah.
Diogo Jota was absent from training on Tuesday with a reported foot injury, so is expected to miss the game, with Cody Gakpo the most likely replacement. Darwin Nunez missed the Wolves game through illness, but could return to the squad for the visit of Bologna.
Arne Slot was forced to withdraw left-back Andy Robertson late on against Wolves and may have to play Kostas Tsimikas in his place.
“I don't expect this to be a big problem, although you never know, but I think he just got a knock," Slot said of Robertson. "End phase of the game, maybe he was a bit tired as well because the guy who came in - Forbs, I knew him, of course, from the Dutch competition - he made it a real fight for him.
“He got a bit of a knock but I'm expecting him to be in training on Monday again, but let's wait [and see]."
Harvey Elliot remains a long-term injury absentee, with the midfielder expected to be out until the end of October.
Liverpool overcame a scare in their opening Champions League game to win 3-1 at AC Milan.
Liverpool predicted XI: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Gravenberch; Diaz, Gakpo, Salah.
