Lyon’s Georges Mikautadze in doubt for Lille fixture | OneFootball

According to a report by L’Équipe, Georges Mikautadze (23) is in doubt for Olympique Lyon’s match against Lille OSC on Friday evening.

The French outlet reports that the Georgian international missed both the open training session on Tuesday as well as the behind-closed-doors one held on Wednesday the 30th of October after he came down with an illness.

Last weekend, the striker opened his account with Lyon during the 2-2 draw with AJ Auxerre. The striker had failed to score in any of Lyon’s games this season but scored both for Les Gones as he recorded a penalty in the first half and a headed effort in the second.

Despite the summer signing finally appearing to find his feet, his involvement in an important game on Friday currently remains uncertain. Lille are in good form and sit fourth in the table, level on points with Olympique de Marseille who remain ahead of them on goal difference.
