Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has reportedly informed Alejandro Garnacho that he needs to find a new club this summer.
After a disappointing season from the young winger, United have decided to allow the 20-year-old to leave the club after this season.
His output this season hasn’t been that bad with the youngster scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists.
However, the extra baggage with Garnacho is what seems to be causing friction between the player and the club.
According to Telegraph Sport, just like how they tried in January, Italian giants Napoli will once again try to sign Garnacho from United this summer.
The Italian side ended their pursuit because of United’s high asking price in the winter transfer window.
The Red Devils are once again set to demand £60m (circa €71m) for Garnacho this summer, a figure that remains high for Napoli and could prove to be a stumbling block in making the move happen.
While the Serie A club admire Garnacho’s talent and believe he could be a valuable addition, they are reluctant to meet United’s current demands.
The Italian side explored the possibility of signing him during the January transfer window, especially after Khvicha Kvaratskhelia left for Paris Saint-Germain.
However, talks failed to progress due to financial hurdles, and Napoli opted for a temporary solution by bringing in Noah Okafor on loan from AC Milan.

Now, with Garnacho reportedly being made available for transfer by Man United, Napoli see an opportunity to revisit the deal but unless the Premier League side lower their price significantly, it’s unlikely a move will materialise.
As the summer window draws nearer, Garnacho’s future remains unresolved. Unless a compromise is reached, Napoli may be forced to turn their attention elsewhere.
